SPANISHDICT REVIEW – WHAT IS IT?
If you haven’t seen SpanishDict.com yet, maybe you should check it out if you are trying to learn Spanish. There are many language learning websites online that teach Spanish, however this is probably the best that you will find online. It really doesn’t matter where you search online. If you Google “learn Spanish”, there SpanishDict pops up in the search results. Even if you query Yahoo, you get the same. Even if you head on over to Youtube, SpanishDict is like the leading Youtube authority for individuals who want to learn Spanish online.
How does SpanishDict Work?
SpanishDict claims to be the World Leader in Spanish Translation and Learning and I think they are for the above reasons. You can’t go anywhere online and not come across them. They have thousands of students around the world that use their site to learn Spanish. The have language games, exercises, videos and audios native speakers that pronounce vocabulary to help learners become immersed in the language. The site is free to use.
If you are having time with Spanish conjugations of verbs, this SpanishDict tool is great for you. What it does is allows you to enter word and get the various verb tense that you need to learn. Again, it will say the words for you. I have seen other sites online that provide conjugations online, but this one is very unique.
If at your home or perhaps have the Spanishdict mobile app, you can use this Spanish translator to translate over 1 million words from English to Spanish or viceversa. You simple type the word into the box and get the equivalents. You can even hear it pronounced for you to see how it sounds.
The Negatives of SpanishDict
In my opinion, I don’t think that there are any real negatives about the SpanishDict site. However, on their Youtube channel, some viewers (natives) say that the teacher Paralee Whitmire who conducts the Spanish lessons has too much of an American accent. I don’t that’s so much of a big deal. If you learn how to speak ANY language that is not your native tongue, then you will have some sort of an accent, even slightly. But if a person really speaks the language, what should matter more? The accent or the message relayed? Moreover, the Youtube comments are very positive amist her accent and praise her for her work.
The Spanish lessons are very thorough, clear and to the point and very fun to watch. I think that the teacher Paralee Whitmire always seems very enthusiastic and energetic when delivering her Spanish lessons which is very important when teaching to maintain students attention. SpanistDict Review Conclusion
Although I already speak Spanish, I think that SpanishDict is an awesome site to learn Spanish. The site is very user friendly and they have a forum where you can ask questions and get them answered. I think this additional feature makes it more interactive and contributes to the sites userability. The site is very effective for language learning, however as I always recommend - PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE!
No matter how much you spend surfing and using the site, you must strive to use what you learn with other natives and not let it remain as head knowledge.
